Rules for the evaluation of the discipline Competition for the most beautiful foal

Basic Condition:

The first condition for participation in this discipline is the maximum size of the horse – measured only the size of the head and body without ears and stick – up to 30 cm.

The second condition is presentation without equipment – i.e. without halter, reins, bridle, etc.

Evaluation criteria:

The following criteria will be evaluated in the Most Beautiful Foal Competition

  • first impression
  • overall appearance of the foal and its companion, matching
  • walking
  • obedience
  • accuracy
  • compliance with the rules
  • greetings

The total number of points that can be awarded is 70 points (10 points/criterion).

The Total Score is then calculated using the following formula:

Total score in % = Total score in points/70*100%

The winner is the rider with the highest % score. The other riders will be ranked in descending order of their scores (from the highest score in % downwards). The top 7 places will be evaluated.

If the riders have the same score – the judge will decide the final order of the riders with the same score.

 

Course of discipline

The attendant brings the foal into the arena, says hello. He will do two rounds in the arena. The first round will go in stride, the second round in trot.

During the show, the attendant holds the foal from the outside so that the jury can see the foal clearly and see if it meets all the criteria.

At the end of the second round, the attendant leads the foal out of the arena.
