Summer Hobbyhorse Camp 2025
Also in 2025 we are preparing a unique summer hobbyhorse camp for you. This year with international participation!
We will meet in a beautiful natural environment near the border with the Czech Republic and Poland.
For 2025, we are planning three main changes:
- summer hobbyhorse camp will be exclusively for members of the Hobbyhorse Slovakia sports club
- new place of summer camp – Hotel František in Javorníky mountains
- The summer camp will run from Sunday to Saturday, which all parents will appreciate :)

Are you ready to take the reins and show off your skills?
The camp offers comfortable and safe accommodation in 2,3 or 4 bed rooms with separate sanitary facilities.
The hotel is located in a protected area of the Kysuce Protected Landscape Area, away from busy roads, in a healthy mountain environment.
The camp is held in a facility with full amenities including a multi-purpose field, large community room, covered patio and heated pool. There is a large meadow and forest next to the hotel.

The hotel provides full catering – breakfast, snack, lunch, snack and dinner on site. Vegetarian, gluten-free or lactose-free meals can also be arranged on request.
Drinking is provided for the participants during the whole stay.
The price also includes the cost of transport to any trips, prizes at the competition, materials for workshops, safety vests and supervision by a teacher, psychologist, massage therapist and hobbyhorsing coaches.

Summer Camp Hobbyhorse Slovakia, 2025
Hobbyhorsing will be the main focus of the programme during the whole residential camp.
Training includes parkour, dressage, show jumping and western disciplines. Participants will gain expertise, competition theory and rules, preparation for representative competitions, teamwork, creating their own portfolios, handmade creation and organization.
There are common room facilities where it is possible to train in any weather. In case of nice weather, training and practice will be preferred, especially on the multifunctional field right next to the facility or on the nearby meadow.
The hobbyhorsing trainers will mainly guide the children towards independence and creativity. That is why this camp is unique compared to the others. We place emphasis on uniqueness and individuality. Hobbyhorses will also be available for loan to new members of the community.
The full programme and course of the camp will be sent out one week before the start of the camp.
Please note that the summer hobbyhorse camp is not a recovery event within the meaning of Act No. 355/2007 and Decree No. 526/2007. This event is carried out as a culmination of a year-long systematic work with children and youth, which is directed towards education in the field of hobbyhorse. The summer camp is intended exclusively for members of the Hobbyhorse Slovakia sports club. You can read more about the exemption here.
Injury, liability, baggage, cancellation fee? Travel insurance
The price of the Hobbyhorse Camp does not include insurance for participants, which is arranged individually by each participant. We recommend you take a look at the offer from the insurance company Union. In one package, they offer accident insurance, luggage insurance, liability insurance, as well as cancellation fee insurance in case a participant is unable to attend a Hobbyhorse camp for serious reasons. The price starts from 25 EUR for the whole stay.
Important: Insurance can be taken out at any time after the service has been ordered, however, if the insurance is taken out later than 2 working days after the order, events occurring no earlier than 15 days after the date of taking out the insurance will be covered
