Who we are
Our website address is: https://hobbyhorseslovakia.com. The controller of your personal data is the civic association Hobbyhorse Slovakia o.z., Karpatské námestie 10A, 83106, Bratislava, ID 54 551 200 (hereinafter referred to as “Hobbyhorse Slovakia”), which is engaged in the promotion and support of hobbyhorsing. We are the organizer of the Hobby horse championship – Hobby horse championship after the model of hobby horse championships from Finland.
The principle of legality
When processing personal data, we are guided by Art. 6 par. 1 letter. (a) Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”), the relevant provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act (Act No. 18/2018 Coll.), Act No. 440/215 Coll. (Act on Sport), that are applicable to us.

Purpose limitation principle – what personal data we process and for what purpose
Hobbyhorse Slovakia processes the following personal data:
a) name and surname – reason: for your basic records when registering for sporting events, email and telephone communication, membership in the Hobbyhorse Slovakia club
b) telephone number – reason: in order to contact you
c) date of birth – reason: for the correct determination of your age as a prerequisite for participation in selected sporting events
d) birth number – reason: for registration in the register of natural persons in sport and for registration at sporting events where a birth number is required
(e) e-mail address – reason: to be able to provide you with information about sporting events, to provide you with organizational instructions regarding participation in sporting and other events of the civic association, to reply if you contact us by e-mail, to inform you about news in the field of hobby horseracing, to inform you about interesting offers of our partners, in order to confirm the correctness of the recorded personal data
f) photography or other form of image – reason: for the purpose of promoting events organized by Hobbyhorse Slovakia, for the purpose of presentation on our website, social profiles or archive in the form of a photo or video
g) bank account number – reason: for the purpose of recording and matching payments we receive from you
In the case of minors, according to current legal norms and regulations, we are also obliged to process the personal data of the children’s legal representatives – in particular: identification data
and their parents’ contact details.
Personal data minimisation principle
We process personal data to the minimum extent required for the purpose. For this reason, we have prepared separate registration forms for each sporting event or other activity, which contain a requirement to enter personal data to a minimum extent.
The principle of correctness
From the point of view of the principle of correctness, we ensure regular updating and correction of the personal data collected. In order to comply with this principle, we also require the completion of personal data for persons about whom we already hold and store personal data. It is our endeavour to confirm the accuracy of the personal details of every member of our sports club at least once a year.
The Principle of minimising retention
We only process your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose of processing or. if we are required to do so by the applicable laws of the Slovak Republic, within the limits defined by applicable law. After the expiry of the relevant period, the personal data will be deleted, unless their retention is required under the relevant legislation of the Slovak Republic.
The Principle of integrity and confidentiality
We store data of data subjects in electronic or paper form. Hobbyhorse Slovakia takes technical and organizational precautions to protect the personal data you provide from misuse. Access to personal data is protected by passwords, anti-virus programs, firewalls.
They have access to personal data:
a) the statutory body of Hobbyhorse Slovakia (and persons authorised by it), the controlling bodies of Hobbyhorse Slovakia
(b) the competent authorities of the national or local government
(c) organisers of sporting events to the extent of the minimum information required for participation in a sporting event
Rights of the data subject
As a data subject, you have the following rights in relation to the processing of personal data:
a) withdraw consent to the processing of personal data – you can do this by sending an email to: [email protected]. In the email you will express your intention to withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data for a specific purpose.
(b) obtain confirmation of the processing of personal data, its scope and purpose
(c) correct incorrect personal data or complete incomplete personal data
d) delete the recorded personal data after withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data, after termination of the purpose of the processing of personal data, in the event of unlawful processing of personal data
(e) to request the restriction of the processing of personal data in the event of a challenge to their accuracy, unlawful processing, processing for longer than necessary, or in the event of the exercise of the right to object
f) request data transfer – you have the right to obtain your personal data from the controller and transfer it to another controller
g) object – you have the right to object if your personal data is processed on the legal basis of public interest or legitimate interest, or. where profiling is carried out on the basis of the following interests
(h) request not to be subject to automated individual decision-making, including profiling
Declaration of the data subject on the processing of personal data
When processing personal data via the Hobbyhorse Slovakia website or in the form of paper questionnaires, the data subject is obliged to express his or her explicit consent to the processing of personal data within the scope of the form. Furthermore, the data subject declares that he or she has understood the content, agrees to it and consents to the processing of his or her personal data for clearly defined purposes on that basis. She is also aware that in case of any doubts, she can contact the controller with questions regarding the management of her personal data via the above-mentioned contacts.
