Hobby Horse Slovakia is a non-profit organization dedicated to the organization of events, training and championships of hobby horseriding – a unique sport that brings joy to children and adults.

Why donate 2% of your tax to Hobby Horse Slovakia?

• Supporting the sport in Slovakia: your donations will enable us to organize competitions, trainings and workshops for all hobby horseriding enthusiasts.
• Community development: with your help we can create new opportunities for children and adults looking for sports activities related to movement and creativity.

How do I donate 2% of my tax?

1. For employees: ask your employer for an annual tax statement and a Tax Payment Certificate. Fill in the form “Declaration of remittance of 2% of tax” and deliver it together with the certificate to the relevant tax office. You can also send the declaration electronically via the portal of the Slovak Tax Administration.
2. For individuals filing a tax return: please include the details of our civic association in your tax return:

3. For legal entities: fill in the part of the tax return where you indicate the amount of the 2% tax and the details of our civic association.

Can I still donate 2% to Hobbyhorse Slovakia if I want to give it to my parents?

YES. In 2026, it is possible to give 2% to your parents and up to 3% to your chosen non-profit organization at the same time! That’s a total of 5% of your taxes paid, through one form.

In addition – in 2026 it is also possible to submit the form electronically via the portal of the Financial Administration – for more information see at this link.

Important dates:

• to 15. februára 2026 – Deadline for requesting an annual income tax prepayment statement and a tax receipt for employees.
• until 31. March 2026 – Filing of tax returns by taxpayers (individuals) who file a tax return (e.g. also sole traders) + filing of tax returns by legal entities – The declaration is already part of the tax return – you fill it in directly in the tax return!
• until 30. April 2026 – for employees only – take/send the 2% remittance declaration to the tax office in your place of residence, together with a tax receipt from your employer. You can send the form to electronically.
