Do you want to help with the organisation of the championship?

We offer you a unique opportunity to become part of the organizing team of the hobbyhorse championship. Even if you want to take part in the Hobbyhorse Championship as a competitor!

It doesn’t matter if you are 10 or 99 years old! Are you a parent, an uncle, an aunt, a friend? Register! Experience the hobbyhorse championship from a different side – as a volunteer!

We need you! Organizing a hobbyhorse championship requires a lot of work, especially just before and during the championship.

Volunteering at the Hobbyhorse Championships is unpaid, but if you help out at designated locations throughout the day we will provide you with a voucher for hot food, drinks and a championship t-shirt!

Anyone can volunteer if they are at least 10 years old. If you are between 10 – 12 years old – you must come with an adult family member to supervise you. There is no upper age limit :).

If you are over 18 years of age and volunteer more than 40 hours in preparation for the Hobbyhorse 2024 Championship, we will issue you with a receipt and you will be able to donate up to 3% of your taxes to a non-profit organization.

In what areas can you help us?

• in the preparation of the hall before the championship and the preparation of the tracks for the competition disciplines
• as an assistant/navigator for visitors and competitors
• during competition discipines – checking arrivals, setting obstacles, rebuilding courses
• as an assistant to arbitrators
• after the end of the championship – help with removing materials and cleaning the area

Registration is a prerequisite for participation. Every volunteer registers. Once your registration has been accepted, we will contact you to discuss the specific type of collaboration and your role.
