Rules of the online competition for the most beautiful hobbyhorse of the championship 2024

These rules shall regulate the conditions of participation in the competition, the manner and procedure for carrying out the activities necessary for its implementation, and shall define the details of the rights and obligations of the participants.

Organiser of the competition

The organizer of the competition is Hobbyhorse Slovakia, ID No.: 54 551 200, Karpatské námestie 10A, 831 06 Bratislava, registered in the Register of Civil Associations of the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”).

Date of the competition

The competition for the most beautiful hobbyhorse of the championship 2024 will take place from 24.3.2024 from 19:00 to 19.5.2024 until 23:59. You can enter the competition during this period

Persons eligible to take part in the competition

A natural person can be a direct participant in the competition, who has reached the age of 18. In the event that a person under the age of 18 enters the competition, all consents and declarations referred to in the Rules must be executed by his/her legal representativewho declares that all the information provided is complete and true, acknowledges that if such information and facts are not complete and true, he/she shall be fully liable for any damage caused by such incomplete and untrue information and facts and undertakes to compensate for such damage in full.

Conditions of participation in the competition

To enter the competition, an eligible participant must have entered the competition exclusively via the registration form, which is published on the website at http://merciful-night-9741-z2e.1wp.site, entered information about the hobbyhorse he wants to enter and paid the registration fee via the Organiser’s payment gateway or by transfer to the Organiser’s bank account based on the instructions sent by the Organiser to the Participant at the email address provided by the Participant in the registration form. The Organiser has the right to cancel the registration of the Participant if the Participant fails to pay the registration fee by transfer to the account by the deadline set by the Organiser. Each registered participant will receive a confirmation of successful registration to the provided email address after successful completion of the registration. The organizer is not responsible for the delivery of the message to the participant’s mailbox.

Members of the Organiser are excluded from participation in the competition.

One participant can enter up to two hobbyhorses in the competition via the registration form. One participant who is identified by one unique email address can enter the contest 1 time. In case one participant enters the competition more than once, the Organiser is entitled to exclude duplicate entries from the evaluation and to evaluate only one (first) entry.

In case of duplicate registration, the participant is not entitled to a refund of the registration fee.

Persons who do not meet the conditions for participation in the competition and/or who act in violation of the competition rules will not be entered into the competition. If it turns out that this person has become a participant and/or winner of the competition (e.g. as a result of providing false information), he/she may be disqualified from the competition (eliminated) and is not entitled to the prize, which is forfeited to the Organiser without compensation. The Organiser further reserves the right to exclude a Contestant from the Competition, especially if it is suspected that the Contestant has achieved participation or a result in the Competition by fraudulent conduct, conduct contrary to the Competition Rules or contrary to good morals (regardless of whether it is the conduct of the Contestant or of another person). This decision of the Organiser is final and without possibility of appeal.

The participant agrees to the use of personal data in the scope of – name and surname on the Organizer’s website and social networks – on the Organizer’s profiles.

The participant agrees that if he/she becomes a winner (placing from 1 to 10) to publish the photo on the Organizer’s website and social networks – on the Organizer’s profiles.

Win

Winning the competition is:

1. place – Winner’s certificate for the most beautiful hobbyhorse of the championship 2023, cup and winner’s cockade
2. to 10. Place – bow

Determination of the winner and notification of the prize

The judges appointed by the Organiser will be responsible for the evaluation of the competition and the determination of the winners and the order of placing in the participant – hobbyhorse format. The minimum number of referees is 3.

The judges will evaluate each participant together with the entered hobbyhorse separately by assigning a score to the participant/hobbyhorse. Each judge will assign points to each participant/entrant hobbyhorse combination.

Points will be awarded for the following categories:

1. authentic colour hobbyhorse to the breed of the real horse – points assigned in the range of 0 to 8 years
2. for the quality of hobbyhorse photography – points from 0 to 8
3. for the original name hobbyhorse – awarding points in the range of 0 to 8 points
4. for the overall impression – awarding points between 0 and 8

Each judge may assign a maximum of 32 points for the participant/hobbyhorse combination. The total number of points will be calculated as the sum of the assigned points from all judges combined.

In case two or more participants with hobbyhorse get the same number of points – the judges can assign extra points to determine the final order of the participants with the same number of points. Assigning extra points will not change an existing order (e.g. if there are 2 third places due to equal points – assigning extra points will determine the order for 3rd and 4th place. By assigning extra points a participant with hobbyhorse cannot be evaluated in second or first place)

One participant can win up to 2 places if they enter 2 hobbyhorse in the competition.

The announcement of the contest evaluation will be published together with the photos of the placed hobbyhorse on the Organizer’s website by Thursday 23.5.2024 and also on the Organizer’s instagram page(https://instagram.com/hobbyhorseslovakia) The placed participants on places 1 to 5 will also be contacted by e-mail to the e-mail address they used during registration. If the winner does not respond to the prize notification within 14 days and does not express an interest in claiming the prize, he/she will forfeit the prize and the prize will be awarded to the next entrant with the hobbyhorse in the order.

Method of handing over the prize

The prize will be awarded to the winning entrants at the 2024 Hobbyhorse Championships. At the same time, the awarded participants will have the opportunity to present their hobbyhorse that was placed 1 – 10 in the special section to other participants of the Hobbyhorse Championship 2024. In case the awarded participant does not participate in the Hobbyhorse Championship 2024, he/she can agree with the Organiser on the way of handing over the prize either in person or by sending it by post. In this case, the awarded participant must notify the Organiser of the postal address. If there is no mutual agreement, or if. the awarded participant does not provide his/her postal address to the Organizer within 14 days of winning, he/she loses his/her claim to the prize and the prize is awarded to the next participant with the hobbyhorse in the order.

The Winner is not entitled to claim any other consideration from the Organiser in lieu of the prize.

Responsibility of the organiser

The Organiser is not responsible for any technical problems related to the competition, in particular problems with the operation of the Organiser’s website or other entities. The Organiser shall not be liable for any damages caused by or in connection with winning the competition. The Organiser reserves the right to substitute the prizes under these Competition Regulations with other prizes of similar type and value as well as to change the terms and conditions of the prizes. Winners do not have the right to claim the prize. In the event of any conflict between the Competition Terms and Conditions or any part thereof appearing on promotional materials or other materials and the text of these Competition Terms and Conditions, the text of these Competition Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

There is no legal entitlement to win the competition. Neither participation in the competition nor winning the competition can be enforced by legal action, nor can alternative consideration (consideration) in money or other non-financial compensation be requested.

Specific provisions of the Rules

The Organiser reserves the right to amend or modify the Competition Rules at any time during the Competition, as well as the right to extend, shorten, postpone, suspend or cancel the Competition altogether, even without giving any reason and without providing any compensation to the registered participants. In the event that changes are made to the Competition Rules, these changes will be made in the form of an amendment to these Competition Rules and will be published on the Organiser’s website. The changes shall take effect at the time of their publication in accordance with the preceding sentence, unless a later time of their entry into force is expressly stated.
