Q: How much does it cost to register for the 2024 championship?

The registration fee consists of two parts: basic fee for participation in the hobbyhorse championship – payment of this fee entitles you to entry to the championship + participation in non-competitive disciplines during the day + the possibility to move around in the hall + the possibility to access hobbyhorse vendors and their equipment. The basic fee is EUR 24. registration fee for participation in the discipline – by paying the fee you will register for a specific discipline from the offer – the amount of the fee is 7 EUR/discipline an administrative fee of EUR 5 for the administration of the registration and the entire system for the evaluation of judges and the publication of the online schedule and results.

We recommend that you do the registration together with your parents.

If you are under 18 years of age, your legal guardian (usually a parent) must confirm/approve your registration. The final step of registration is to pay the registration fee via the online payment gateway. You will need a payment card or an activated Apple Pay or Google Pay

Register preferably by computer

The registration form contains several pages, so we recommend filling it out by computer. This method is not only faster and easier, but also gives you a better overview of all the data you have entered.

If you want to compete in dressage categories, please choose a song in advance

When registering for dressage events, song titles must be included on the registration form along with YouTube or Spotify links. If you are competing in a discipline Individual Dressage by Alamy, you can also choose a song from the list provided. In case of registration on Dressage Pairs you must also indicate the name of your dressage partner.

Club members register faster and cheaper

For VIP members of the Hobbyhorse Slovakia sports club we have prepared a fast-track registration so that you don’t have to fill in the information we already know about you. Another advantage is a discounted fee for participation in the championship + club members have one selected discipline for free!

The registration form saves the completed data locally

If you don’t complete your registration in one go, when you reopen the form on the same device, the data you’ve already filled in will automatically be pre-populated.

Limited number of applicants

In order to make sure you enjoy the day to the fullest, we have decided to limit the number of competitors in each discipline.

The current number of available places can be found for each discipline. If there is a number next to it 0, registration is no longer possible. In this case, please select another discipline that is still available.

Please check your details before submitting

Before submitting the form, we recommend checking the entered data using the button Back. When submitting, we also verify the validity of the entered email addresses. On mobile devices, it may occasionally happen that an error message appears when an incorrect email is entered, but the form fails to submit. We are experiencing problems with email addresses from the domain seznam.cz, so please use a different email address if possible.

After submitting your registration, make sure you have received a confirmation email

We send confirmation emails to the email addresses of the registered participant and legal guardian upon successful completion of the registration, which contain the information you filled out during registration. It also contains the registration number that you will use for future communications. If you find an error in your registration details – please contact us as soon as possible.

Unique registration number

Each successfully registered participant will receive their unique registration number in the welcome email. This number is important for further communication and can be found in both the schedule and the results. You will also use it when registering in person upon arrival at the hobbyhorse championship.

Can I choose another song for dressage?

No. In the 2024 edition, we have set the rule that the competitor chooses one song from the offered list of songs for the discipline

. In case you want to choose your own song, log in to the category Dressage Singles Free Style or Dressage Couples.

Did you qualify in the qualifying rounds before the championship?

If you finished in the qualifying rounds up to 5. places you can register for a special qualifying category – have your registration number ready to use to qualify – you will need to enter it on the registration form.

Do you want to register for individual dressage according to Päiva?

Is it possible to submit a registration multiple times?

Unfortunately no, the registration also includes the payment of a registration fee, which consists of two parts – the basic registration price, which includes participation in the hobbyhorse championship + the opportunity to participate in competitions and activities throughout the day + the opportunity to meet Slovak and foreign hobbyhorsers + access to hobbyhorse equipment dealers. The second part is the registration fee for participation in a specific discipline. If you submit the registration form more than once – you will always be asked to pay the basic registration price.

I want to come to the championship on I don't want to compete

If you are a hobbyhorse who does not want to participate in the competition categories, but wants to come to the hobbyhorse championship and move in the hall among other hobbyhorse riders, you need to fill in and submit the registration form with the option No competition discipline. In this case the hobbyhorse will only pay the basic fee for participation in the hobbyhorse championship.

Are visitors/chaperones also registering?

For the 2024 edition, we have decided that visitors do not need to register for the Hobbyhorse Championship 2024. Upon entry, each visitor will receive an identification wristband that will entitle them to enter the grandstand. Visitors are not allowed to move around in the sports hall, where the sports disciplines will take place.

Can I enter two hobbyhorses for the discipline?

Two hobbyhorses can only be registered for the online competition for the most beautiful hobbyhorse. In other disciplines only one hobbyhorse can be registered. Of course, it is possible to register different hobbyhorses in each discipline :).

What songs can I choose for Free Style Dressage or Pairs Dressage

We recommend choosing songs that are available on the Spotify music platform. In exceptional cases, also on Youtube. Before registering, prepare the internet addresses of the songs, as you will need to enter them in the registration form.
