General conditions for participation in hobbyhorse training

1. Purpose of the document

1.1 This document establishes the organizational, financial, safety and operational conditions for participation in training sessions of Hobbyhorse Slovakia o.z.

1.2 The Terms and Conditions are binding on all Participants and their legal representatives.

2. Organiser and nature of training

2.1 The organizer of the training is Hobbyhorse Slovakia o.z., with its registered office at Karpatské námestie 10A, 831 06 Bratislava, Slovak Republic.

2.2 Training is carried out as a non-business activity, solely for the purpose of sports development, improving technique and preparation for competitions at home and abroad.

2.3 Training is provided as a special service exclusively for members of the Hobbyhorse Slovakia Sports Club. Information about the sports club is available at this link.

2.4 The participant must be an active member of the club at the time of registration for training.

2.5 If the applicant is not yet a member of the club, he/she can become a member during the registration process.

3. Training frequency and price

3.1 Training sessions are usually held once a week.

3.3 The price of the training semester is listed on the same page.

3.4 The organiser will notify the price change at least 1 month before the start of the next semester.

4. Training periods and fee payment

4.1 Training sessions are held in the periods September – January and February – June.

4.2 The fee is payable in advance for the entire half-year.

4.3 The fee must be paid no later than the beginning of the semester in which the participant wishes to take part in the training.

4.4 By paying the fee, the legal representative confirms participation and acceptance of these terms and conditions.

5. Agreeing terms and conditions

5.1 The legal representative agrees to these terms and conditions electronically upon registration.

5.2 Electronic consent has the validity of a written signature.

5.3 Consent is valid until the terms are changed.

5.4 No re-approval is required for continuation in the next half year – the validity of the terms and conditions is confirmed by the payment for the next period itself.

5.5 Failure to pay the fee means termination of participation in the training for the next periods – the organizer will automatically withdraw the participant.

6. Absence and compensation

6.1 Medical reasons: possibility of refunding the unused part of the fee – after deduction of EUR 40 and presentation of a medical certificate. The request for a refund of the unconsumed part of the fee should be sent by the legal representative to the email address [email protected].

6.2 Individual non-participation: up to 3 non-participations, the pro-rata value of the payment amount is carried over to the next half-year; for 4+ non-participations, a maximum of 3 non-participations are carried over. Refund of the carried forward value in monetary form is not possible.

6.3 In case the participant does not want to participate in the training anymore, it is possible to propose a substitute who will take part in the training until the end of the paid period, in agreement with the organizer.

7. Cancellation of training by the organizer

7.1 In case of cancellation of the training, the participant is entitled to a pro-rata value of the paid fee for the current semester

7.2 The calculated value will be carried forward to the next half year in the form of a price reduction for the specific participant (the participant will be provided with a discount coupon in the amount of the carried forward value to be redeemed when registering for the next half year)

7.3 Refund of the transferred value in monetary form is not possible.

8. Safety and liability

8.1 The organizer is not responsible for injuries of participants before, during or after the training.

8.2 The organizer has the right to exclude a participant from the training if the participant disrupts the training by his/her behaviour after repeated calls from the coach who organizes the training. Such a participant is not entitled to compensation according to point 6.2 for the training from which he/she has been excluded. At the same time, the organizer shall inform the legal representative (registered email, phone number) of the participant’s exclusion from the training together with the reasons for the exclusion.

8.3 The organizer informs the participant and the legal representative (registered email, phone number) about the minimum equipment that the participant will bring to the training. This usually includes sports shoes, sports clothing, bottled water and hobbyhorse equipment.

8.4 The organizer is not responsible for lost or damaged items before, during or after the training.

9. Obligations of the legal representative

9.1 For participants under the age of 15, the transport and pick-up of the child is provided.

9.2 Must be available during training – either in person or by phone.

10. Membership in a sports club

10.1 Participation is only possible for active club members.

10.2 Membership is compulsory when registering for training if the participant is not a member of a sports club at the time of registration

10.3 If the membership expires, the participant must renew it in order to continue to participate in training

11. Photography and videography

11.1 The legal representative gives consent to photography and filming.

11.2 Materials may be used by the Organiser for web, email, marketing and promotion of the activity.

11.3 Consent also applies to material already created.

12. Processing of personal data

12.1 Data is processed in accordance with the GDPR. Further information is available at this link.

12.2 Use: record keeping, communication, administration.

12.3 Data is not disclosed to third parties except for lawful reasons.

13. Updating the terms and conditions

13.1 The current version is published on the organiser’s website

13.2 It shall take effect upon publication.

13.3 Dissent may be expressed by non-payment of the fee within the next six months, which will automatically cancel the registration for the participant. If the participant wishes to continue in the future they can re-register via the registration form

14. Final Provisions

14.1 By paying the fee, the legal representative confirms that he/she is aware of the terms and conditions.

14.2 By participating in the training sessions, the participant accepts these terms and conditions.
